DEADPOOL 2 Gets a Summer 2018 Release Date

Ever since the end credits scene for DEADPOOL confirmed a sequel would be coming soon with the addition of the mutant Cable, fans have been eagerly waiting for the official announcement of its release date. The writing has been on the wall that a date reveal was coming soon as Zazie Beetz was announced to be Domino and, most recently, actor Josh Brolin was confirmed as Cable.

Fox has officially announced, via THR, that DEADPOOL 2 — or as I will continue to call it "DEADPOOL GOES NO. 2" in my head until it has a better and more fitting sequel title — will hit U.S. theaters next summer on June 1, 2018.

Ryan Reynolds is also a producer on the film with DEADPOOL writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning, and David Leitch in the director's chair.
