SUICIDE SQUAD 2: Warner Bros. is Reportedly in Talks With Mel Gibson to Direct the Sequel



The Hollywood Reporter says Warner Bros. is currently in "early talks" with Mel Gibson to direct SUICIDE SQUAD 2. The first movie made $745 million worldwide and its director, David Ayer, is currently set to take the director chair for the studio's female anti-hero ensemble movie GOTHAM CITY SIRENS, which will star Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and is currently in development.

The report states that Gibson is currently researching through comic book material and no offer for the director seat has been made, yet.
