BLACK PANTHER to Start Filming at Pinewood Studios Atlanta in January 2017



OnLocationVacations has word from their sources that Marvel's BLACK PANTHER will begin filming at Pinewood Studios Atlanta in January. OLV writes:

"It’s been nearly two years since production began on Marvel’s Black Panther and now the movie is finally set to begin principal filming next month. According to various sources, Black Panther will start production in Atlanta, GA on January 15, 2017 and will use Pinewood Atlanta Studios as its home base while filming in Georgia."

Marvel Studios has made the Atlanta facility their base of production operations for several years now. BLACK PANTHER joins ANT-MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMINGAVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and AVENGERS 4 as movies all filmed or to be filmed at Pinewood.

BLACK PANTHER is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role along with Angela Bassett, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba rounding out its impressive main cast.

BLACK PANTHER releases on February 16, 2018.
