First Plot Tease For BLACK PANTHER Was Overheard at SDCC 2016

While speaking with Lupita Nyong'o at San Diego Comic-Con, Collider had a chance to hear a little juicy plot tease she gave to one of the correspondents of Marvel.com for BLACK PANTHER.

"The story of this Black Panther is — what am I allowed to say? — the story is that the Black Panther’s leadership is really threatened by two foes who come together, and so Black Panther gets the help of the C.I.A. and the Dora Milaje to try and defeat the enemy."

During Marvel Studios' big Hall H presentation at SDCC 2016, it was revealed that Nyong'o will be Nakia, who is a member of T'Challa's royal security force called the Dora Milaje. Also, revealed at SDCC last week is that actor Michael B. Jordan will be the movie's main antagonist, Erik Killmonger.

BLACK PANTHER begins filming in January 2017 and releases on February 16, 2018.
