There's Still No Chance at Bringing the X-MEN, DEADPOOL and FANTASTIC FOUR into the MCU Right Now

This is the latest in the recurring story that will hopefully stop for a while after this post. Ever since Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures partnered up to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans want the same between Marvel and 20th Century Fox, who holds the movie rights for X-Men, Deadpool and Fantastic Four.

It's a story that continues to have legs without much actual progress behind it, but hopefully this story ends for a while because Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Variety, "It’s an impossibility [to partner with Fox] at this juncture. We certainly have enough films to keep us busy for a number of lifetimes."

This quote comes after Feige said last month, "We all get along and I see [Fox] occasionally but there’s no change in any dynamic."

So there is nothing in the works, at least for right now and in the near future, when it comes to a studio partnership bringing the X-Men, Deadpool and/or Fantastic Four into the MCU. Which is a damn shame especially when it comes to the fact that Dr. Doom is just sitting around doing nothing after the last Fantastic Four movie bombed in the box office. Dr. Doom, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Magneto, Professor X, Deadpool and many other popular characters under the umbrella of Fox's Marvel movie properties really do deserve to share the big screen with The Avengers.

Sadly, it's not happening right now or, according to Feige "at this juncture."

Fans can still hope and dream for this to become an eventual reality, but it's time to put this story to bed... at least until after AVENGERS 4 when the MCU proceeds into its Phase 4 of movies and storytelling in 2020.
