At the Marvel Animation panel at New York Comic Con 2016, it was officially announced that Disney XD is getting into the animated shorts game.
Passion Studios will produce animated shorts for ANT-MAN and Funko will be producing three animated shorts. Funko's three shorts will include Rocket Raccoon and Groot, Spider-Man and Iron Man vs. Loki and finally Deadpool vs. Venom!

These new animated shorts will debut on Disney XD in 2017.
