It's Sounding Like Mephisto Could Appear in AGENTS OF SHIELD

Mephisto is a demon in the Marvel comic book universe and if you're to believe exactly what actor Gabriel Luna told Collider, then the villain could very well be in Season 4 of AGENTS OF SHIELD. Luna, who plays Robbie Reyes, a.k.a. Ghost Rider, name-dropped Mephisto while speaking with Collider.

"Yeah, [Ghost Rider is] very powerful. That’s a huge wild card to throw into the mix [in AGENTS OF SHIELD]. We’re starting to tow the line and inch towards some ground that hasn’t been covered, but that is a huge part of the books themselves and the entire Marvel universe and the canon of Marvel’s assortment of characters.
"What we haven’t touched on are things that can’t be explained perfectly by science. It’s a lot of really fun stuff that starts to lean into the world of Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider and Mephisto, and all of these other elements that also exist there, like ghouls and goblins and all sorts of cool things. We’re happy to be the ones to break the ice on that."

That certainly sounds like Mephisto could be revealed sooner than later. And while he might appear in Marvel's DOCTOR STRANGE, since he too was name-dropped, it seems more likely for him to appear opposite of Ghost Rider in AGENTS OF SHIELD. Having a powerful hero like Ghost Rider means you need a powerful villain to face-off against him. Why else would Luna be name-dropping like this?
