Sometimes it's best to not trash talk at all, especially when you're working on a movie which allegedly had a tremendous amount of production issues like Fox's last reboot attempt at FANTASTIC FOUR. But this didn't stop someone in charge of the production of FANTASTIC FOUR from producing production crew-only shirts that took a shot at Hasbro and Paramount's nearly $4 billion Transformers franchise or at TERMINATOR: GENYSIS.
Just listed on eBay, a production crew shirt reveals on the back a dig at one of these two movies. The back of the shirt says the following:
"Hey, at least we're not on T5."
Oh the irony because after FANTASTIC FOUR flopped hard at the box office and was critically panned, In retrospect, seems like working on any other movie than FANTASTIC FOUR would have been a much better choice.
We reached out to the eBay seller for clarity and they think it stands for TRANSFORMERS 5 but they are not entirely sure since it was acquired from a production crew member to sell online.
If you're going to trash talk, you gotta back it up. FANTASTIC FOUR definitely did not since it was one of the biggest super hero genre movie disappointments of all-time.
