We Are Looking For a GOTHAM Season 3 Beat Writer

Today is August 1, which means it's time for DailySuperHero.com to look ahead toward the upcoming fall season of super hero television. We currently have a fantastic group of TV show beat writers for: AGENTS OF SHIELD, SUPERGIRL, ARROW, THE FLASH and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.

What we still don't have is a beat writer for GOTHAM. When we brought on our beat writers for TV shows last fall we were looking hard for a GOTHAM writer but it never happened. So now we are looking again, since GOTHAM Season 3 debuts on September 19 on Fox.

This will be a non-paying gig and here's what will be expected:

Standardized recaps and/or reviews of new episodes are not wanted and your coverage should be something not found on other websites. While you should do some recap you need to add your own opinion, theories, predictions of upcoming events, potential effects of something big that happened, etc., etc. to your weekly post.

If you are brought on your main requirement is to provide 1 article per week while the show is airing and in-season. When the show is not in-season, then you're responsible for posting a few articles about your show with speculation, opinion, greatest moments of the past season, etc. Your weekly contribution should be ready for publishing within 48 hours of a new episode airing.

If you have interest, please email thedailysuperhero@gmail.com so we can begin a line of communication. Please send your writing resume, or link to your LinkedIn page, in your initial email along with a short recap of your writing past and passion for covering GOTHAM. If there's interest based on your past experience, a sample post assignment will be sent to you within 1-3 business days of your email being sent. Please note: If you are requested to provide a sample post, that sample post may also qualify for publishing on The Daily SuperHero regardless of if you are brought on to cover that beat, or not.

While this is not a paid gig it will be resume worthy if you are brought on. DailySuperHero.com has editorial experience, basic policy in place, as well as some instruction to improve your work to make sure you can provide clean copy which doesn't need much editing each week.

We look forward to hearing from those who are interested and the cutoff date for applying is the end of the day on August 31, 2016. Signing a basic writer contract will also be required.

Good luck!
