DOCTOR STRANGE Concept Art of Benedict Cumberbatch Emerges

Here's another glimpse at Entertainment Weekly's San Diego Comic-Con issue which will have this piece of concept art of Benedict Cumberbatch as the Master of the Mystic Arts in DOCTOR STRANGE. Art by Ryan Meinerding, Marvel Studios' head of visual development.

"Stephen Strange is a lover, he's a materialist, he's arrogant, but he's got a great sense of humor," Cumberbatch says. "There are smatterings of the same colors that Sherlock has, but he's not on the spectrum."

UPDATE: Here's a full look at the entire piece of concept art that will be given away as a poster randomly throughout SDCC at Marvel's booth (most likely at their booth but not yet confirmed).

"Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe."
