SUICIDE SQUAD Director David Ayer Starts Teasing the Movie's Main Antagonist

Props to Warner Bros., DC Films and writer / director David Ayer for keeping the main antagonist in SUICIDE SQUAD under wraps and still a secret. As we get closer to the movie's August 5 release date more information should be released about who or what it is.

In fact, Ayer is starting to tease the main antagonist in the film. And in the latest issue of Total Film, via CBM, Ayer calls he/her/it "The Eyes of the Adversary." Producer Charles Roven did a little more teasing, too.

"Let's just say, when they're called in to do this mission by Amanda [Waller], these are one of the things they encounter. They don't know how they got here, but they're weird and dangerous and yet they're wearing military uniforms."

After a quick Google search there is a character in the DC comic book universe called The Adversary, but he doesn't fit anything seen in SUICIDE SQUAD trailers and teasers. It appears that Ayer may have created a new villain or perhaps adapted, renamed and repurposed a different DC character for the movie.

Finally, this GIF from the trailer might be your best look at the back of The Adversary.
