Within a new post on Variety, talking about France's new tax rebates for animated production, it was revealed that Marvel Animation will take advantage of these new tax credits by making animated shorts for ANT-MAN and ROCKET AND GROOT.
"Also on the list of international productions are two Marvel Animation TV shorts series: 'Antman,' from French directorial duo Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach, and 'Rocket and Groot,' directed by France’s Arnaud Delord."
No further information was provided but it has to be assumed these animated shorts will air on Disney XD during their Marvel animation block that includes Avengers, Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy shows.
