At the end of March a rumor report hit the web claiming the mutant lineup for writer/director Josh Boone's NEW MUTANTS X-Men spin-off movie was revealed. The alleged lineup consisted of Wolfsbane, Magik, Cannonball, Sunspot and Mirage. Fox was quick to say the rumor was not true.
Last night, Boone took to his Instagram account and seemingly teased the potential lineup through a series of mutant character images.
In these images all the mutants from the rumor report are present including an extra one at the end of Warlock. Seemingly a possible confirmation or it could just be trolling, because why not?!
NEW MUTANTS is still in development and its second script draft has been handed in and it is patiently awaiting a hopeful green light from Fox.
