Jeremy Irons Shares Opinion of BATMAN V. SUPERMAN, Confirms Return in BATMAN Solo Movie and its Possible Title

There's no need to pile-on BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE anymore because Warner Bros. has been making changes to its hierarchy of creatives who oversee their DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The only thing the studio can do now is adapt and move forward for the greater good of the DCEU and all of its upcoming movies.

Except it's hard to ignore something a BATMAN V. SUPERMAN actor says about it and this is exactly what has happened as Jeremy Irons, who plays Alfred, spoke to DailyMail (via ScreenRant) about the super hero film.

"I mean it took £800 million, so the kicking didn’t matter but it was sort of overstuffed… It was very muddled. I think the next one will be simpler. The script is certainly a lot smaller, it’s more linear."

Then, Iron confirmed he will be in DC Films' co-head Geoff Johns and actor Ben Affleck's in-development BATMAN solo movie.

“I’m tied into The Batman at the minute, which is nice because it’s a bit of income… Not that I need a bit of income but it’s nice to keep ticking over.”

Whoa... Irons called the Affleck-led solo movie, "THE BATMAN." It's been rumored the in-development title for the solo film is THE BATMAN and Irons seemingly just confirmed it.

THE BATMAN is being written by Johns and Affleck and could release on one of the DC Films untitled release dates already set for October 5, 2018 or November 1, 2019.
