Chris Evans Wants CAPTAIN AMERICA to Appear in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is the biggest worldwide grossing movie of 2016 after passing the $1 billion mark last weekend. But things weren't all peachy for actor Chris Evans. Two years ago, Evans said he was ready to move on from the role once his current Marvel Studios contract ended.

Fast-forward to today and Marvel Studios under much better direction when it split off from the supervision of its New York offices to now being under the care of Disney Studios head Alan Horn, in Burbank, Cali. This change has made things less stressful for studio president Kevin Feige as well as for many of its leading actors.

Prior to the move away from Marvel's New York offices, the studio had to abide by frugal methods of budget control and restraints imposed by New York. Today, this is no longer the case as Disney knows Marvel Studios is their cash-cow and without going too high on film budget's, there's so much more leeway when it comes to making their actors happier than ever before.

One actor who has totally changed his tune is Evans, who has come to a point in his career where he's totally embracing his role as Steve Rogers and Captain America. This is more than evident in a recent interview with MTV (watch the interview in the video embed below) where Evans gushed about his love for the character.

"I've really found a level of comfort with the character over the course of, what is it, seven movies or something? I can't even keep track, but we've been doing it since 2010, and now it really does feel like home. It just feels like very comfortable to me so, any way they want to use me in any other type of cameo, its fun to be, its fun to be a part of this chapter of cinema."

And in the same interview, Evans says where he'd like Cap to show up in other Marvel Studios movies; and he wants in on SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING.

"Guardians would be fun wouldn't it? I mean, but that's very outer spacey. Cap's more of an earthbound guy. Maybe the next Spider-Man's. You know those are going to be fantastic and I think Tom's such a great actor so that might be a fun one to pop up in."

Robert Downey Jr. is already confirmed to be bringing Tony Stark and Iron Man to SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING and you'll hear no complaints from any Marvel fan if Cap happened to appear as well.
