WONDER WOMAN Release Moved Up 3 Weeks and Warner Bros. Secures Dates For 2 Untitled DC Movies [Updated]

Regardless of all the negativity surrounding BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE reviews and its second weekend drop-off, Warner Bros. is showing confidence in their DC Extended Universe franchises. The studio has moved WONDER WOMAN forward and set new release dates for two more untitled DC movies as well as an untitled event movie, via THR.

WONDER WOMAN has its release moved up three weeks from June 23, 2017 and it is now releasing on June 2, 2017. This moved was made to make room for a new untitled DC "event movie" four months later.

Warner Bros. set a release date for this mysterious untitled "event movie," right alongside Fox's previously set untitled X-Men franchise movie, on October 6, 2017. Fox will probably reconsider this release date and move it away from this unknown DC "event movie."

[Editor Correction UPDATE: It is being called a 'WB Event Film,' not a DC event film. Sorry for the confusion.]

The studio wasn't finished as they, then, scheduled two new untitled DC movies for October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019.

The updated schedule for the DCEU is as follows:

SUICIDE SQUAD - August 5, 2016
WONDER WOMAN - June 2, 2017
JUSTICE LEAGUE - November 17, 2017
THE FLASH - March 23, 2018
AQUAMAN - July 27, 2018
Untitled DC Film - October 5, 2018
SHAZAM! - April 5, 2019
JUSTICE LEAGUE 2 - June 14, 2019
Untitled DC Film - November 1, 2019
CYBORG - April 3, 2020
GREEN LANTERN CORP - June 19, 2020
