Marvel TV is growing. Fast. As of right now there are seven confirmed television series in some stage of development and/or production. These shows include: DAREDEVIL Season 2, LUKE CAGE, JESSICA JONES Season 2, IRON FIST, THE DEFENDERS, AGENTS OF SHIELD and Marvel's MOST WANTED.
During the red carpet premiere of DAREDEVIL Season 2, ComicBook caught up with Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb and he confirmed there are a few more than the ones listed above.
"It never stops. We have, in one way or the other, there's 9 or 10 shows that are going. They're going on in my brain. The idea is, much like when I was doing television and writing comics at the same time, it’s about telling stories, and making sure we are telling the best stories that we can."
So what could the other shows be?
Rumored to be in development, but not confirmed, are a possible PUNISHER spin-off on Netflix and the comedy DAMAGE CONTROL, which follows a clean-up team who comes in after super hero battles have ended. Also, news broke in April 2015, writer/producer John Ridley (12 Years of Slave) has been working on a secret Marvel TV project for ABC but this series has been so secretive nothing more is known about it except that Ridley is working on something.
