You first saw him in the credits scene after THE AVENGERS. Then he was seen again in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Fans want to know when Thanos will next appear in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film and according to studio head Kevin Feige, while speaking to Empire (via CBM), he won't be in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2.
“I wouldn't look too hard in [Guardians 2] for Thanos. The next time we see Thanos he will not be messing around. It was be, 'Oh, that's why they've been teasing this villain for five years!”
So when is the next time? Feige did not disclose this info so it is unknown if Thanos will show up before AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, Part I. But a part of me thinks he'll make, at least, a cameo in an MCU movie before the next Avengers film.
