Harrison Ford is Ready to Return For INDIANA JONES 5

He's already reprised the role of an older Indiana Jones in the much maligned, but highly profitable, INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL. But Harrison Ford is ready to return once again (via EW).

“Oh, yeah. Yeah, I’d love to do another Indiana Jones. A character that has a history and a potential, kind of a rollicking good movie ride for the audience, Steven Spielberg as a director — what’s not to like?”

Ford has been more than vocal about his love for the role of Indy and things are definitely brewing behind closed doors at Disney and Lucasfilm to continue the franchise in the coming years. Even Steven Spielberg said he'd like to return to the director's chair for the fifth film in the franchise.

When Disney bought Lucasfilm and the franchise rights to Star Wars and Indy, their initial focus was Star Wars first and foremost. Now that Star Wars is ready to launch on December 18, and there are sequels and spin-offs already announced and in development, the time is coming sooner than later when Indiana Jones will return to the big screen.
