Bryan Singer to Reportedly Direct the Next X-MEN Movie Which Will Film in Montreal in 2017

Director Bryan Singer, 20th Century Fox and Montreal all seem to get along quite well as the studio and director have filmed X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE there.

The marriage of studio, director and city will apparently continue as JournalDeMontreal is now reporting Fox and Singer will return to the city to film the next X-Men movie in 2017. This is also the same source who broke the story that X-MEN: APOCALYPSE would film in Montreal, so this news can be seen as legit.

Fox nor Singer have announced another X-Men movie after Apocalypse, but this seems to confirm there are indeed plans for another ensemble film sooner than later. The real question now is if actors James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and other cast members will return too.

All of this makes sense as Fox has had a release date set for an untitled X-Men movie on July 13, 2018 for a while. Stay tuned because this story is sure to get more traction now.
