STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS - Who Was the Hardest to Find Figure on Force Friday? Captain Phasma

Whether you stood in line for hours at your local big box retailer for Force Friday or played the online refresh game at midnight at home on your computer, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS toys sold fast and furious from shelves and websites.

But who was the hardest figure to find in stores and hottest seller online? After doing some in-person recon this past weekend and visiting over two dozen big box retailers (Target, Walmart and Toys R Us specifically), plus scouring the web several hours after Star Wars toys went online, The Daily SuperHero has your answer.

It is the chrome Stormtrooper commander Captain Phasma.

Her figure sold out online on DisneyStore.com in just a few hours and was no where to be found in the several Disney Stores located in the mall. Her Hasbro 3.75-inch Mission Series figure was only found in three of the over two dozen big box retailers visited over the weekend.

Meanwhile, her Funko POP figure was much easier find at Target and Hot Topic stores but the Funko allocation shipments for her figure was much greater than the die cast Disney Store exclusive figureHasbro's 3.75-inch figure and her 20-inch figure.

So welcome to a new Star Wars era of Captain Phasma, who — even before being seen on the big screen — is already trending to be the new popular armored character in the Star Wars universe right alongside of Boba Fett.

Finally, it may not have been in Wave 1 but Captain Phasma will be in Wave 2 of Hasbro's 6-inch Black Series figure line and here's a look at her — which is sure to be hard-to-find when it starts hitting stores. (It's been reported that this figure is already being found overseas, so it's coming to the U.S. very soon.)
