WOLVERINE: Patrick Stewart Says Professor X is in it and Teases 'Old Man Logan' Story

First actor Hugh Jackman teased the comic book story 'Old Man Logan' could serve as the basis of his final turn as Logan in WOLVERINE and now Patrick Stewart has done the same. In fact, Stewart told Collider Professor X will be in WOLVERINE.

“I think what you say is true. There is a project in development. I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me.
“And the idea of an old Wolverine – I’m really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old. You know, damn him. He looks so great! So I’m hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he’ll make me look better if that’s the case.”

Not sure how much more confirmation is needed, albeit official word from 20th Century Fox, that 'Old Man Logan' is the basis for WOLVERINE but it certainly sounds like that's the case after seeing these comments by Stewart.

Helmed by James Mangold, who returns to the director chair after he directed THE WOLVERINE, WOLVERINE begins filming in early 2016 and releases in theaters on March 3, 2017.
