It's sad to think about actor Hugh Jackman leaving the role that has defined his career and helped define the comic book movie genre. Unfortunately, he does not have the same mutant power to heal himself and stay youthful forever like his big screen counterpart.
It's the end of days for Jackman as Logan / Wolverine in Fox's X-Men movie universe. The studios' main draw will don the adamantium claws one more time in the third Wolverine movie which was revealed to be simply titled WOLVERINE at San Diego Comic-Con.
Jackman took to his Twitter account and teased the same image shown at the Fox presentation at SDCC earlier this month.

WOLVERINE begins filming in early 2016 and releases on March 3, 2017.
