Before 20th Century Fox's big San Diego Comic-Con, SHH had a chance to speak with DEADPOOL star Ryan Reynolds and asked him if Deadpool could ever show up in a team-up movie like the currently-being-develop X-FORCE movie.
“I’d love to see him in X-Force. I think you’d have to be pretty judicious of how you use him in anything that’s X-Men related just because you have a character that’s META, a character that breaks the fourth wall, that’s self-aware. How does that fit into that world. It becomes a pretty fine line he’s walking. You can probably find a way to utilize him but you’d have to be pretty judicious with him.”
Mums the word on the status of X-FORCE right now, so it has to be assumed writer/director Jeff Wadlow is still working hard on its story and script.
With DEADPOOL releasing in February 2016, and based on the tremendous positive response to Fox showing the first footage during their SDCC panel, it would seem illogical to not bring Deadpool aboard in X-FORCE since it looks like his box office status is about to explode (in the good way).
