BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: Is Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor Wearing a Wig as a Nostalgic Homage to Gene Hackman?

New images of BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE has been revealed (see link below) and one really caught my eye. It's the one of actor Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor wearing what looks like a wig. We know he's bald based on an earlier image of the actor as Luthor that was revealed by Entertainment Weekly (see image at the end of this post) several months ago, but in this image he has hair.

This is a wink to when actor Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor wore wigs in the original SUPERMAN movies because his villain character was uncomfortable with his baldness. Seems like Eisenberg's version of Luthor could have an similar disdain for his hairless head.

A great bit of nostalgia for the older SUPERMAN movie fans!

Quick Side Note: It's been brought to my attention after publishing this post that it could be Eisenberg's natural hair before getting it shaved or losing it at some point in the movie but it definitely has a fake wig look to it in the above image.
