This winter multiple generations of Star Wars fans will get their biggest holiday gift with a brand new movie when STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS releases on December 18. And the in December 2016 the first standalone Star Wars Anthology movie will release.
STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE is being directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and will star Felicity Jones as a Rebel spy who is part of a band of Rebels who are tasked with a heist mission to steal the plans of the Death Star. Others in the cast are reportedly actors: Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn.
It seems like a new cast member is being added as Variety reports Forest Whitaker is in talks to join the Anthology movie in an undisclosed role.
Stay tuned because more Star Wars news is coming since Lucasfilm has officially confirmed there will be a huge presence at next month's 2015 San Diego Comic-Con International.
