Casting rumors surrounding CAPTAIN MARVEL has been far and few between. Maybe this is due to her movie not coming out until November 2018 or maybe because Marvel Studios is actually keeping their targeted actors a secret.
The latter seems less likely now that Devin Faraci, founder of BirthMoviesDeath, has reported he's hearing some things about actor Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow) possibly being targeted by the studio.

Blunt's name has been a fan favorite for the role for some time and it seems like Marvel might agree.
