GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2: James Gunn Says [Again] No HULK Team-Up

There are some Marvel fans who still have their fingers crossed that the Planet Hulk comic book story will be somehow adapted into GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2. In fact, there's even fan art of a sequel title card for 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Planet Hulk' on DeviantArt.

Back in July 2014, Gunn debunked any hope for a Guardians/Planet Hulk adapted into the sequel. But for as crazy as the Internet can be, there were still some who though the writer/director has been creating a falsehood. Truth be told, sometimes those who work for Marvel Studios do stretch the truth to the media and public.

This might not be the case as Gunn has again debunked any hope for a Guardian and Hulk team-up on his Facebook page.

Unless Gunn is fibbing to throw fans off it seems like it is time to close the door on a Hulk team-up. If you're still in denial, it's probably best to get over it now and move on.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2 releases on May 5, 2017.
