This fall Disney Infinity 3.0 releases on consoles and Star Wars debuts in this iteration of the video game franchise. Star Wars is multi-generational now and a new generation of fans are about to be introduced to Star Wars this December when STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS releases in theaters.
Older Star Wars fans, like me, love the Original Trilogy while younger fans love the Prequel Trilogy. Disney and Lucasfilm have decided to focus on the Original Trilogy whether its main episode films, anthology movies, comics, novels or video games. This is being done because for the past decade-plus Star Wars has been mainly focused on the Prequel Trilogy and Clone Wars story lines. The prequels' time in the spotlight has (thankfully) ended.
Now is the time to teach your children about the Original Trilogy because without that knowledge, they may not understand the new films. In order to get today's youth keyed into the Original Trilogy, Disney Infinity 3.0 will help you teach your kids about a Star Wars Episodes 4-6 timeline since they might not be as familiar with it as they are with the stories surrounding the prequels.
At E3 2015, the 'Rise Against the Empire' playset for Disney Infinity 3.0 was teased in a new trailer.
I want to play this game right now, and I'm a grown ass adult.
