AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR PART 1 & 2 Will Film Back-To-Back Starting at the End of 2016

At the end of March word broke that Anthony and Joe Russo would soon be announced as the director for both AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR films. When this happened, some websites claimed their sources said these would film in consecutive years. Meanwhile, one of The Daily SuperHero's insiders said these would film back-to-back instead.

Well, it seems my insider was correct because actor Chris Evans has confirmed that AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, PART I & II will indeed film back-to-back for nine months in the last half of 2016.

"That’s going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back," Evans told Esquire, via Collider.

With these two blockbusters coming out in consecutive years, it makes the most sense to shoot them all at once, then work on post-production for Part 1, release Part 1 and then work on post-production for Part 2 and finally release that. Back-to-back is the smartest and most efficient way of shooting a two-part movie that comes out 12 months apart.
