Right off the bat, The Daily SuperHero needs to remind its readers that it has taken a stand against pretty much all the rumors and spoilers that are online for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The reason being is that there are way too many of them to keep up with.
The 6-year-old original Star Wars Trilogy fan in me wants to read and post all of them, but the current older and wiser me does not want to know any of it. I'm actually sacrificing lots of web traffic hits to not know until I'm in my theater seat this December. I really want to experience the elation of not knowing much while watching the film for the first time.
Regardless of my stance on rumors and spoilers, there is a new rumored description of the next Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer online by the scoopsters at Latino-Review who, by the way, are not in the business of posting fraudulent information since they've been bought out by a large media company. Since this is about the next trailer, I'll make an exception to posting these rumors.
Here's a few bullet points from their report and if you don't want to know any of this right now, here's your SPOILER ALERT.
- Actor Lupita N'yongo has a voice-over at the start of the trailer and she tells a story of the Jedi to John Boyega's character Finn and Daisy Ridley's Rey. She implies that a lightsaber Finn found has a greater purpose and Finn ignites it to reveal its green blade. Rey looks concerned about the whole situation.
- Kylo Ren is seen with a mask similar to Darth Revan's from the Expanded Star Wars Universe and his crossguard lightsaber.
- Han Solo walks away from Leia and toward Chewbacca and the Millennium Falcon.
- A final close-up of a hooded figure reveals the first look at Luke Skywalker.
This trailer is reportedly to be released with Avengers: Age of Ultron (duh!) and if you want to read the full detailed report for the next trailer, click here.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases in theaters on December 18, 2015.
