Marvel is wrapping up filming the Original Netflix series Daredevil but they are in pre-production on their next series, Jessica Jones.
According to Deadline, Marvel has found their lead in Jessica Jones. Breaking Bad actor Krysten Ritter has reportedly landed the role of Jessica Jones and the trade website says the choice was between her and actor Teresa Palmer.

Also, noted in the report, is that actor Mike Colter (The Following) is the frontrunner to land the role of Luke Cage and he was doing "chemistry reads" with the Ritter during auditions. Cage, who will get his own Netflix series too, will be introduced in Jessica Jones.
Jessica Jones is a former super hero who hangs up her costume because she has post-traumatic stress disorder and opens a detective agency to help people without the pressure of being a costumed hero.
