Fans already knew that Loki was going to be a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 3 movie Thor: Ragnarok after it was confirmed at the Marvel Event in Los Angeles earlier this week. Now, it seems like Loki will have a role in Phase 3's Avengers: Infinity War movie(s) as well.
According to a new report by DigitalSpy, Marvel Studios will pick up the remaining film options left on actor Tom Hiddleston's contract, assuming he's in both Infinity War movies. And he currently has three films left on his 6-picture deal.
"It has been confirmed that Tom Hiddleston's Loki will feature heavily in the new batch of Marvel films recently announced. [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige says Thor's villainous step-brother will be in both Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War."
Thor: Ragnarok releases in theaters on July 28, 2017. Avengers: Infinity War, Part I releases on May 4, 2018 and Part II on May 3, 2019.
