What Does BRUCE BANNER / HULK Have to do With VISION in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON?

A set visit embargo has been lifted for all the websites, albeit an excessive number of sites, who were invited to Marvel Studios' Avengers: Age of Ultron. While the majority of those sites are posting the same exact quotes from actors whom they spoke with, ScreenCrush.com broke down their visit succinctly and (in my opinion) most effectively.

One piece of information revealed by actor Mark Ruffalo was really interesting, regarding the Hulk and Vision.

"Yeah [Vision's] pretty incredible. And, the idea of him and where he comes from and he’s not — he’s very independent. He’s a really great character. People are gonna love the Vision.
"He’s my baby."

Wait?! What? I thought Vision was a product of Ultron and his attempt to spite Tony Stark by using what was once JARVIS against him. While that was just some speculation by me, Vision was indeed created by Ultron in the comic book universe as a means to destroy the Avengers. Vision realizes his main directive doesn't match what he begins to feel in his new self-aware being and decides to side with the Avengers, to help them defeat Ultron.

Of course all of that is from the comics and Marvel Studios fans should know by now what happens in the comics definitely does not mirror over to the big screen and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For instance take the subtitle 'Age of Ultron,' which has nothing to do with the comic book title of the same name and is just a subtitle for the sequel.

Anyway, getting back to Ruffalo's comment about Vision, either he is hinting that Bruce Banner has something to do with the creation of Vision or he is just intentionally misleading fans by saying one thing instead of the truth. It's 'The Marvel Studios Way' for actors to mislead since it's been done many times in the past and this could be yet another time.

Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
