Chadwick Boseman is BLACK PANTHER & Will be Introduced in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR; Plus Concept Art Tease

Marvel Studios' event in L.A. has left a jarring effect on Hollywood today. Not only by revealing their impressive lineup of Phase 3 movies but they have bought much needed diversity into their super hero leading roles.

The studio officially introduced actor Chadwick Boseman (42) as Black Panther right after it was confirmed that Black Panther would release in theaters on November 3, 2017. Boseman has reportedly signed on for a 5-picture deal with Marvel.

Back in April, Boseman pulled what's known as a 'Paul Rudd Marvel moment' as he snickered when asked about rumors he was being looked at for Black Panther. And just as Rudd did before him, Boseman had a terrible poker face and pretty much revealed without saying it that he was indeed in talks for Black Panther.

Now it's official. So official that studio president Kevin Feige even teased the movie.

"He’s a bit of a prince, he may even become a bit of a king, but it’s all about how this isolationist country meets the world. Maybe it goes well, maybe it doesn’t."

Also, it has been confirmed by Marvel that Black Panther will be introduced in his suit in Captain America: Civil War.

Finally, check out the first official concept art of Black Panther!
