Before Batman, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy there was Gotham. Fox's new series follows Detective James Gordon and the rise of villainy in Gotham City and it is now confirmed to be green lit for at least 13 episodes for this fall, per EW.
Fox has also released the first teaser trailer for Gotham early to Entertainment Weekly, which you can see below.
