VENOM and SINISTER SIX Movies to Come Out Before THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 4

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is ready to release in theaters in the United Kingdom on April 16 and then in the United States on May 2 but this isn't stopping its producers from talking about what is next for the franchise.

In an exclusive interview with the website Den of Geek, producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach spoke about Sony Pictures' expanding Spider-Man movie universe.

"Before we know what we do with [The Amazing] Spider-Man 4, we're going to do Sinister Six, Venom and [The Amazing] Spider-Man 3. There is going to be a lot of crossover in those movies. So we're just not at [The Amazing] Spider-Man 4, because we still have a whole other Spider-Man movie and two other movies. So we don't know yet what [The Amazing Spider-Man 4] is going to be."

Sound very ambitious, especially since they will have "a lot of crossover." What do you except when Marvel Studios is churning out hit after hit and has plans as far into the future as 2028?

But the question of whether Venom comes out before Sinister Six or vice versa still remains an unknown. If Venom is to be included on the Sinister Six team, as a villain, you would think it would release before the villain ensemble movie. But nothing has been confirmed as of right now. Perhaps Venom will be to be more along the lines of the Flash Thompson version, who is actually a hero referred to as Agent Venom.

Lots of possibilities when it comes to Venom but the bottom line is that when Spider-Man takes on the Sinister Six he may need some help, or backup. So aligning Spidey with Agent Venom could be in the cards. Definitely stay tuned as this story is steadily developing.
