FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot: The Super Hero Team Will Not be Referred to as Their Team Name in the Movie

Right off the bat, let's be honest in saying that there is less excitement for the reboot of the Fantastic Four than any other Marvel film property already in production, developed or that's been rumored. This could be due to the past two Fantastic Four films being subpar, or maybe its a harder sell to a general audience than many think or this is all an evil plot by Dr. Doom. Whatever the case is, 20th Century Fox is still moving forward with their reboot of Marvel's first family and filming is set to begin within the next few weeks in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Writer and producer Simon Kinberg spoke with IGN about the reboot and confirmed that the Fantastic Four won't be referred to as such in the film.

“This Fantastic Four movie is in some ways a reboot and in other ways just a stand-alone origin story. By the end of the movie, we don’t call them the Fantastic Four, they’re not celebrity superheroes. The tone of the movie is much more grounded and real and gritty — more in the direction of Chronicle than in the direction of the original Fantastic Four movies.”

Include the rumor that the team members may not even where suits and it's a reboot of the Fantastic Four with a rumored title of 'The Fantastic Four' but the team won't be called the Fantastic Four in the movie ...
