Has Marvel's AGENT CARTER Television Show Been Green Lit For Production?

Ever since it debuted as a One-Shot with the Blu Ray release of Iron Man 3, Agent Carter is considered to be Marvel Studios' best short film to-date by many critics and fans. Previously, said to be in development as a hopeful television show it seems like Agent Carter might have gotten the green light to begin production.

According to the British tabloid website The Mirror, the stunningly beautiful (you gotta see her in real life because she's even more gorgeous in person!) female actor Hayley Atwell is relocating to Los Angeles for six months and to start filming Marvel's next TV show.

“[Agent Carter] is a massive deal for both Hayley and Marvel comic fans. It’s Marvel’s major project of 2014, and it will be a big budget production.
“Hayley is absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity and is incredibly grateful to Marvel fans who have basically been campaigning for a spin-off show for the past six months. It means moving to LA for six months but her friends and family are all behind her, and this is a huge opportunity.”

No confirmation by Marvel, ABC or Disney so Atwell could be moving to L.A. to film a movie. Or perhaps the tabloid site is right and Agent Carter has gotten the green light from the studio.

Stay tuned as more information about this is sure to start hitting the web if any of this is true.
