Jim Gordon to Investigate Wayne Murders in Pilot Episode of GOTHAM TV Show?

While headlines are filled with things about Arrow, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel-Netflix's upcoming streaming series the forgotten television show, which is currently in development for Fox, is Gotham. Based on the early crime fighting of Jim Gordon—way before he became Gotham's police commissioner— Gotham's pilot episode story line has reportedly been revealed.

According to the website Bleeding Cool, one of their sources told the site the pilot episode will follow Gordon's investigation surrounding the murder of Bruce Wayne's mother and father.

"...The pilot script for GOTHAM has Detective Jim Gordon trying to solve a very famous double homicide," writes Bleeding Cool.

If this happens to be true, then what a great beginning to a TV show that obviously follows the current TV trend of cop shows and investigative shows that are consistently popular in the ratings. Not to mention it will draw in many Batman fans just because of its name.  When Gotham will eventually premiere is still a mystery but stay tuned as it most likely could begin production on its pilot in the next few months, if a pilot script is near completion as is implied with this new report.
