Whether you're calling it Batman vs. Superman or Batman/Superman or Man of Steel 2, it's all one-in-the-same. and only a few things are known as fact when it comes to Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's follow-up to this past summer's Man of Steel Sequel. But now fans have confirmation that Wonder Woman is finally going to make her big screen appearance in the 2015 blockbuster.

Variety is reporting that Fast & Furious 6 female actor Gal Gadot is signed on and going to play Wonder Woman in director Zack Synder's film.

"Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character,” Snyder said, per Variety.

This is easily the biggest casting announcement since Ben Affleck was announced to be the next big screen actor to don the cowl as Batman. But let's not stop there because in the same report Variety also implies the Flash will make an appearance in Batman vs. Superman too.

"...Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo," writes the Hollywood trade website.

Mind blown... but before our brains completely fall out of our respective heads, let's save a little bit for when our mind is blown again for the official villain announcement and casting for that as well. (At least, it's probably going to be mind blowing.)
