Check out Benicio del Toro as THE COLLECTOR (Taneleer Tivan), Who is Like an "Outer Space Liberace"

Spoiler alert cannot be said enough right now because what you're about to see at the end of this post is a little tease of how Benicio del Toro's character Taneleer Tivan (a.k.a. The Collector) will look in next summer's Guardians of the Galaxy.

If you are curious as to how this image has been revealed, it is from overseas. (Weak sauce hint, I know, but there's a greater meaning behind being this vague about it.)

But first, director James Gunn spoke at the premiere for Thor: The Dark World in Hollywood about del Toro's highly flamboyant portrayal of Taneleer Tivan, The Collector.

"[Benicio del Toro] is really out there man! He's the best," Gunn said to MTV News. "We just kept watching him on set and we'd be like, 'Oh my God!' He was probably the character that's most different from what I imagined. Although I did sort of say he's like an outer space Liberace. That's what it says in the script, which he's kind of doing. He really came in prepared and doing something utterly unique and he's mesmerizing the whole time he's in the movie."
