Now, new information has (re)surfaced saying something similar. A few weeks back when the first Captain America: The Winter Soldier trailer was released, ComicBook.com also reported that one of their sources said a tie-in with the Cap sequel and Agents of SHIELD will happen before the film is out on April 4, 2014. Sort of a lead into or tease about things that may occur in Cap 2.
The report went pretty much unnoticed back on October 24. Until now, because Agent Coulson himself (Clark Gregg) retweeted a tease off an aggregated report by ComicBookMovie.com.
“@ComicBook_Movie: Final Episodes Of AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Linked To CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER? http://t.co/QRiSxOGclR” hmmm
— Clark Gregg (@clarkgregg) November 4, 2013
This all would normally be labeled as a hardcore rumor post but when Coulson speaks, we should probably listen. Stay tuned as more is sure to develop about a possible Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Agents of SHIELD tie-in episode(s).
