After THOR: THE DARK WORLD Loki Won't be Seen Until, at the Earliest, THOR 3

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has to be one of the busiest men on the planet. He does so many interviews it almost seems like he could be a Life Model Decay while his real self is sitting back in his Marvel Studios office relaxing. And even if this were true, he won't be in his office relaxing... he'd be working.

While over in London, for the premiere of Thor: The Dark World, SlashFilm.com caught up with Feige and he covered many topics. One particular was about the highly popular Marvel villain Loki, played by actor Tom Hiddleston.

"Yeah, I don’t think it would be before Thor 3 if there is a Thor 3 and while we certainly have ideas of where we would like that to go, there are no specifics," Feige said regarding Loki's involvement in Marvel films after Thor: The Dark World. "We have to see how this one does and then go from there."

Before the watery eyes start in all the fans of Loki's army, remember Loki's role grew in the Thor sequel during reshoots. Hiddleston had some ideas for the villain and director Aaron Taylor liked them so much the reshoots were about adding more Loki into Thor 2 than anything else.

Even though Feige sounds a bit pessimistic about Loki's return, and with Thor 3 still years away, so much can change between now and then. Not to mention Loki's popularity alone should bring him back to the big screen in a future Marvel movie. And who doesn't want to see him in The Avengers 3 if Thanos is finally on screen because fans everywhere should want to see those two share some screen time after Loki failed Thanos in The Avengers.
