Marvel Studios Confirms James Spader is Ultron in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Stop the press and all the rumors in the mill because Marvel Studios has officially announced who will play the villain of Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. And no one saw this coming...

Officially announced and posted to Marvel.com, the studio has cast actor James Spader to be the robot villain in The Avengers sequel. Currently starring in the new television show The Blacklist, Spader has recently starred in the movie Lincoln and has earned multiple Emmy's for his past work on the TV shows Boston Legal and The Practice.

So all the rumors end now. No more thinking that Vin Diesel could still be Ultron, no more thinking that JARVIS voice actor Paul Bettany will be the villain and no more rumors at all. 

Avengers: Age of Ultron releases in theaters on May 1, 2015.
