AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Director Joss Whedon Talks Conflict With SCARLET WITCH, QUICKSILVER and the Team

While actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson details the character of Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) to the media, writer/director of Avengers: Age of Ultron Joss Whedon has touched on the overall dynamic of adding the two new members, Pietro and Wanda (Scarlet Witch), to the Avengers team.

In an interview with Total Film magazine, Whedon says it won't be smooth sailing for the two newest members of the superhero team.

"[W]e have the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver... [who] did not begin their time as friends of the Avengers, so there’s going to be a lot of, well, conflict.”

Sounds a bit like Whedon may start the Avengers sequel with the brother and sister duo being more like anti-heroes and perhaps a transition into becoming full-fledged Avengers occurs throughout the movie. Since Ultron is the ultimate threat to the team the robot's presence could be the reason Wanda and Pietro eventually join the team.

All guesses right now though. Share your opinion on how Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver may be included on the Avengers team by going over to The Daily SuperHero's Facebook page by clicking right here.
