SDCC 2013: Fox to Announce Expanded X-MEN Movie Universe Plans, X-FORCE & DEADPOOL Could be Included

Up to this point the biggest mystery surrounding the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con panels has definitely been 20th Century Fox's panel. Mainly because they were the only panel that has been listed as 'to be announced' for SDCC.

According to Bleeding Cool (via CBM), Fox is definitely using their SDCC panel to announce an expanded X-franchise movie universe. And if you follow The Daily SuperHero on Twitter, you may have seen that last night TDSH called it! Click right here to see that tweet.

Per Bleeding Cool:

"This past week or so, we’ve been “off camera,” chasing rumours that Fox are on the verge of announcing plans for their extended X-Men movie universe. We were tipped off that they will – unsurprisingly – be using their panel at Comic-Con as the launch pad."

Only yesterday was the lid of blown off of the fact that Fox purchased and has owned the website domain 'x-forcemovie.com' since April. Now the puzzle pieces seem to be fitting together nicely. Fox is obviously considering an X-Force movie and there's the always-rumored-to-be-green-lit Deadpool movie too.

Perhaps both X-Force and Deadpool will (finally) get an official green light announcement and maybe the Deadpool test footage will be shown too. A Cable movie? Solo X-Men character movies? Nightcrawler (man, this one would be cool!)? Another Wolverine film? A sequel announcement to X-Men Days of Future Past? Anything is possible right now.

Some big announcements are coming from Fox, for sure. Fox's SDCC panel is on Saturday June 20 in Hall H at 4:15 p.m. PST. Stay tuned.
