New CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Concept Art Teases S.H.I.E.L.D. vs. S.H.I.E.L.D. Plot

In Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con Preview issue a lot of new images are being revealed for future films. Next up is Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The newest piece of concept art released by Marvel Studios and revealed by EW shows Steve Rogers in his Captain America suit, from The Avengers, fighting the Winter Soldier. As you can see, the Winter Soldier is completely mask-less so it's safe to assume at this point in the upcoming film is when Rogers now knows he is fighting an old friend from Captain America: The First Avenger, who is back from the dead. Regarding Cap's suit looking like it's from The Avengers, maybe that version of the suit makes an appearance or maybe it was just used for the concept art. (Probably the latter.)

The Quinjets need to be noted though. There are three Quinjets in the background as well as Falcon flying with wings extended and gun triggers being pulled in the direction of what faintly appears to be a Quinjet. Then one Quinjet appears to be shooting at the Winter Soldier's side of the image and near the villain, while the other looks like it's shooting near the Cap'n and on his side of the image.

It can be deduced by this information (graphic design theory comes into play here as well) that this image is a tease of a S.H.I.E.L.D. internal threat plot which has the agency on two opposite sides of good and evil fighting against each other. Check out the concept at below and click to enlarge the image.
