GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is an "Anti-Hero Hero Movie" Says Gamora Actor, Zoe Saldana

One year ago Marvel Studios made their biggest/riskiest announcement at Comic-Con saying their August 1, 2014 release will be the Guardians of the Galaxy. Fast-forward one year and fans who were lucky enough to see the first footage for Guardians in Marvel's Hall H panel are now very excited since the reported footage was hilarious and looked great.

During the panel, actor Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek movies) spoke about Marvel's space team. She said not only could they beat up the Avengers but they are a mixed group of reformed heroes.

"It's the 'Anti-Hero Hero Movie,'" Zoe Saldana said, per Yahoo! Movies. "These are thieves, rebels, assassins who come together to fight something actually much worse than them. And there's actually a lot of comedy—the levity will be abundant.
"We're different than the Avengers. The Guardians have much 'bigger' powers. We could totally kick Thor and Captain America's ass."

Actor Dave Bautista agreed with being able to take down the Avengers.

"Drax could definitely beat up Hulk and Thor. Drax is an interesting creature. He's full of rage and he's full of honor. But the best thing about Drax is he's hysterical, without really meaning to be."

Could there be a few scenes in future Marvel films showing a little battle between the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers, similar to how Thor and Iron Man were fighting in their ensemble movie or like how Hulk and Thor were fighting? Maybe and if so, it will definitely make for entertaining cinema.
