X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST: Do New Set Photos Confirm Wolverine Goes Back in Time?

Leading up to this point, there has been no real answer as to who will be going back in time to the 1970s timeline in X-Men Days of Future Past. Until now. Maybe.

New set photos show actor Hugh Jackman on location and talking to director Bryan Singer while wearing 70s-styled attire. There is the possibility he is not in costume but he does look the part for the 70s. Not to mention his hair is very Logan-esque so he is definitely on set to be in character. Also based on the fact of what Jackman is wearing, it looks very similar to what the younger Professor X and Magneto have been seen wearing on set too.

In the comics, Kitty Pryde was the mutant who went back in time, while Bishop did it in the 90s animated cartoon series version. Now it looks like Fox and Singer might be putting a twist on the classic comic book story and may adapt their version of it to have Logan go back in time. Unless this is all just Wolvie in the 70s since he was in X-Men First Class via a quick (and funny) cameo.

So is it Logan post-X-Men First Class? Or Logan post-The Wolverine movie as a time traveler? To much uncertainty right now and these set photos really don't clear anything up regarding who the time traveler(s) is.

X-Men Days of Future Past releases in theaters on July 18, 2014.
